Ehrenbreitstein Fortress

Across the Rhein and at the top of the Gondola ride is the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. The Fortress was okay but the views are great.

Cool Observation Deck

The Intersection of the Mosel River (to the right) and the Rhein.  Called the German Corner.

The "German Corner". The Equestrian statue of Emperor Wilhelm I dominates the "Corner". Deutsches Ek. Erected in 1897, destroyed in 1945, rebuilt in 1993.
